August 17th 9-10 am (Pacific) – MonitoringResources.org: Integrating Tools
The MonitoringResources.org web tools are designed to interact with each other and connect to outside databases using web services (an automatic feed to the tools from an outside source). You have been hearing about all the specific tools in the MonitoringResources.org toolset throughout this webinar series, this webinar we will focus on how the tools integrate and connect to outside databases.

We invite you to join PNAMP on the 3rd Thursday of the month at 9am (Pacific) for a series of webinars focused on the MonitoringResources.org web tools.

MonitoringResources.org is designed to assist practitioners in documenting how, when, where, and why data are collected. With standard documentation, practitioners will be able to enter data once then easily update and share. Colleagues and practitioners in the region can access and learn from others. This toolset can also link to other information systems (e.g., project tracking systems, databases, metadata repositories) for automatic updating. Funders and managers can review existing and proposed work to better understand gaps and overlaps in a given spatial extent.

The general format will be a 15 minute overview of tools, 30 minutes delving into the specific tool, and 15 minutes of open discussion. Upon request PNAMP staff will provide additional one-on-one training sessions for interested users.
