DESCRIPTION:
This task aims to develop and refine Fish Management Unit (FMU) spatial layers and attributes for focal species, expanding coverage and improving data quality across the region. Use StreamNet’s Regional Generalized Fish Distribution dataset as the primary input; incorporate QW‑compiled provisional data to expand coverage; integrate authoritative conservation planning boundaries (e.g., NOAA Fisheries, USFWS).
PRODUCTS:
- Updated FMU layers (HUC12 minimum mapping units), feature‑level metadata, and hosted, documented layers on the PSMFC ArcGIS Platform.
