DESCRIPTION:
Modernize and concatenate the various species, run, rear, and condition type field guides into a single digital guide that can be brought into the field to assist with identification.
TASK OUTCOMES:
The digital field guide will provide:
- High quality digital images
- Allowing users to zoom-in on key characteristics
- The most up-to-date images and metadata
- Easier to update with new images of hybrids and invasives
- Greater opportunities for collaboration
- Accessible on tablets and easy to share
- A crosswalk of ID codes from various identification guides
