Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) Class
The Washington Invasive Species Council is pleased to announce an upcoming in-person training class, offered by United States Fish and Wildlife Service.
WHAT: Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) Class
WHEN: Two days, May 21-22, 2026, 8am to 5pm
WHERE: Natural Resources Building, 1111 Washington Street SE, Room 172 Olympia, WA 98501. This class is only offered in-person with no virtual option.
WHO: This course is meant for natural resource management staff. The course is offered by instructors from the United States Fish and Wildlife Service.

MORE: HACCP training is a tool for analyzing activities for risk in natural resources management. Class participants will develop real-life plans specifically tailored identify and control non-target species that may become a threat to natural resources. Upon completion, participants will be able to:
- Implement HACCP to prevent unintentional introductions of non-target species
- Identify critical control points and measures for prevention
- Specify if corrective actions meet management objective to prevent introductions.
