The 2025 ICAFS meeting will be held in Boise on April 1st – 4th, about 6 months from now. Members of EXCOM are looking for additional volunteers to assist with planning and holding the annual meeting. There are a variety of tasks and responsibilities for which assistance is needed such as AV, registration, acquiring swag, organizing the poster session, or acting as the meeting photographer, among others. While these may seem like relatively small tasks, they are crucial to holding a successful meeting, and we need your help!! Volunteers are further rewarded by learning the intricacies of holding a large professional meeting and expanding their network amongst fisheries professionals from around the state. New EXCOM members are elected shortly before the meeting. Idaho AFS is seeking well qualified nominees for elected offices including Vice President, Treasurer and Nominations Chair. Active members of EXCOM have a direct hand in guiding the future of our chapter and have an essential role in planning yearly meetings.
