River Restoration Northwest’s Young Professionals Night is an opportunity for college students, recent graduates, young professionals, and experienced environmental professionals to come together, make connections, and talk about what it really takes to build a career in the environmental field.
The evening will focus on “How to Break into the Environmental Field,” exploring how professionals got their start, the different paths that led them into environmental stewardship and restoration, and how to gain experience in an industry where even entry-level positions can require previous experience.

Allen Dysart with Wolf Water Resources will share his career journey, experiences in the field, lessons learned along the way, and what helped him build a career in the environmental and restoration industry.
This will be an informal and interactive event with plenty of time to network, ask questions, share experiences, and connect with others in the environmental community. Attendees will also have an opportunity to hear about exciting work happening across the Pacific Northwest, from large scale river restoration to innovative environmental and habitat restoration projects.
