The Idaho Department of Fish and Game is seeking to fill a current opening for a Natural Resource Program Coordinator – Anadromous Fish Specialist within the Fisheries Bureau at our Headquarters in Boise.

General Responsibilities (all positions):
- Coordinates in-state fishery management program and recommend needed research.
- Prepares and proposes modifications to fishery management plans.
- Coordinates fish regulation development with regional staff.
- Responds to information requests from internal and external customers.
- Identifies problems and recommends solutions to increase angling opportunity.
- Represents department and State of Idaho at various meetings and conferences with federal agencies, Native American tribes and other states regarding fishery resources.
- Works to communicate science to the public through writing, testifying hearings or media interviews.
- Experience with data management and manipulation including databases and spreadsheets, and statistical analysis of data.
- Experience writing technical reports, or peer reviewed publications.
