Do you care about salmon, healthy rivers, and helping young people connect with the natural world?
This fall, the World Salmon Council’s Salmon Watch Program is seeking volunteers to help students experience Oregon’s rivers firsthand while learning about salmon biology, watershed health, wildlife habitat, and environmental stewardship.
As a Salmon Watch volunteer, you’ll join a passionate community of educators, scientists, anglers, conservationists, outdoor enthusiasts, and community members who share a commitment to protecting the future of wild salmon and the ecosystems they depend on.
No previous teaching experience is required. We provide training, resources, and support to help you feel confident and prepared in the field.
Why Volunteer?
✅ Inspire students through hands-on environmental education
