2026 Knowledge Exchange Workshop Series: Cumulative Threats, Collaborative Solutions: Shaping Salmon and Watershed Futures

This free virtual workshop explores the challenges of addressing cumulative threats in salmon watersheds and paths toward recovery in a rapidly changing environment. It will feature interdisciplinary research from Simon Fraser University’s Watershed Futures Initiative, along with case studies where collaborative approaches are supporting the path toward healthier watersheds and salmon runs. The workshop includes expert presentations and panel discussions.

The Knowledge Exchange Workshop Series is co-presented by Fisheries & Oceans Canada (DFO), the Pacific Salmon Foundation (PSF), and Washington Governor’s Salmon Recovery Office (GSRO). DFO, PSF, and GSRO are pleased to provide an opportunity to share knowledge on some of the latest restoration practices and research from researchers, scientists, and field professionals working in the Pacific Northwest and beyond.
